I am a neuropsychologist specializing in assessment as well as neuropsychologically-based intervention. Neuropsychology is the branch of neuroscience which focuses on behavior, including emotion, cognition, and attention. I have focused my career on the neuropsychology of learning. This has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the fundamental conditions which support learning and development.
I have 25 years of experience helping individuals with complex learning difficulties. I have found that true success in learning is always possible. At the core of my work is understanding in great detail the unique way in which each client learns. Once this is understood, together we can create the conditions which support learning. When these conditions are understood, the effects of many apparent learning weaknesses are minimized or bypassed. The client then succeeds at learning and gains confidence as a learner. The process of learning can then become fulfilling and enjoyable.
